About the Ship & Castle Hotel, St Mawes
Set beside the harbour, in an enviable position, the Ship and Castle is full of the charming atmosphere of nautical St Mawes and is an ideal base for a leisurely holiday. From this peaceful spot, with its winding streets and ancient Tudor castle, a short ferry trip (weather permitting!) is a lovely way to reach Falmouth and its range of interests. Delightful country and cliff-top walks are on hand, while you may prefer to take to the road and escape to a deserted beach, try your luck at sea angling, or cruise up pretty creeks and rivers. Whatever you choose to do, this well equipped hotel, where you can simply sit back and watch the activity on the water, is a perfect complement to all that Cornwall has to offer.
The hotel does not have a car park. A public car park is located nearby. (Parking charges apply).
